Operation and control

Here's how to get the most out of your Marwona natural stone heater – from thermostat settings to optimal use.

How do I set the Marwona TF1 wireless thermostat correctly?

The Marwona TF1 wireless thermostat allows for simple and precise control of your natural stone heating system. For optimal settings, please follow these steps:

Default setting: Select your desired target temperature and set the heating times according to your daily routine. The thermostat automatically regulates the heating based on the current room temperature.

Tip: Start with a moderate temperature and adjust it as needed. The natural stone heater stores heat and continues to release it even after being switched off, ensuring a consistent room temperature.

What does the operating time of a natural stone infrared heater depend on?

The operating life of a natural stone heater depends on various factors:

  • The room's heating requirements
  • Target temperature
  • Room size
  • Heat storage in the stone
  • Thermostat control

Tip: Our programmable thermostat optimally adjusts the heating to your daily routine, thus saving energy. Our WiFi Smart Thermostat offers even more flexibility and control.

Installation and security

Important instructions for safe and professional installation, whether on wooden walls, drywall or other surfaces.

What do I have to consider when installing the Marwona natural stone heater on wooden walls?

Since the back of the Marwona heater is not thermally insulated, temperatures of up to 100 °C can affect the wooden wall. This thermal stress can lead to cracks and discoloration in the wood. We therefore strongly recommend installing thermal decoupling between the heater and the wall.

Our range: For this application, we offer an aluminum composite panel (Dibond) that is simply inserted between the radiator and the mounting bracket. This reduces the temperature on the wall to approximately 40°C and protects the wood.

What do I have to consider when installing the Marwona natural stone heating on drywalls?

Load capacity: Drywall partitions must be able to support the weight. Ideally, attach the radiator to wall studs or reinforce the wall.

Thermal stress: Plasterboard has limited heat resistance. Use an aluminum composite panel (Dibond) to reduce the wall temperature.

Can the heaters also be installed under the ceiling?

Due to the high weight of the Marwona heater, installation under the ceiling is currently not possible.

Frequently asked questions

Use this text to answer questions in as much detail as possible for your customers.

Performance, efficiency & product features

Everything about heating power, energy consumption and the unique properties of our natural stone heaters.

How many square meters of living space can I heat with an 800 watt Marwona heater?

An 800-watt heater can heat an area between 10 and 25 square meters. The actual area depends on various factors, such as the room's insulation, the number of exterior walls, and the size and number of windows—in short, on the heating requirement in watts per square meter. An area of 25 square meters is only realistic under optimal conditions (e.g., a low-energy house).

Do objects in front of the infrared heater influence the heat output?

Yes, they do. Infrared heaters emit their heat in the form of radiation – similar to sunlight. If larger objects (e.g., a sofa or wardrobe) are placed directly in front of the heater, they block the radiation, which impairs the heat distribution in the room and reduces the heater's efficiency.

Our tip: Make sure to keep the area in front of the infrared heater as clear as possible so that the heat can spread freely throughout the room.

Why does my natural stone infrared heater look different than in the picture?

Natural stone is a genuine natural product, and each piece is unique. The grain, color variations, and textures differ, making each heating element individual. The images on our website show examples of natural stone, but variations in color or pattern are not defects, but rather a sign of the unique beauty of natural stone.

Our promise: Each natural stone heater is a unique piece – one of a kind and of high-quality workmanship.

How much does a Marwona natural stone infrared heater consume?

Electricity consumption depends on the power output and daily operating time. An 800-watt heater that runs for 4 hours a day, for example, consumes approximately 3.2 kWh per day.

Summary:

  • The natural stone heater heats through direct radiation and stores heat.
  • The stored heat is released even after the unit is switched off, which shortens the heating time and saves energy.
  • This ensures a pleasant indoor climate and helps to reduce electricity costs.
